We also collect information about you from other sources like third-party services, and optional programs in which you participate, which we may combine with other information we have about you. Account Registration

When you create an account with GariConnect, we collect the information you provide us, such as your name, email address, phone number, birth date, and payment information.

Vehicle data

We collect information you provide in relation to a vehicle such as vehicle listing details, license plate number , availability dates, reviews, and uploaded vehicle photos.

Identity verification data

In some instances, we may collect identity verification information such as a photograph or scanned copy of the driver’s license, passport, national ID card, or payment card, social media account information, driver’s/motor vehicle record, insurance information, or other forms of identification information.

Ratings and Feedback

When you rate and provide feedback about Guests or Hosts, we collect all of the information you provide in your feedback.

Communications

When you contact us or we contact you, we collect any information that you provide, including the contents of the messages or attachments you send us.

Usage data

We collect information about your use of our Platform, including ride information like the date, time, destination, distance, route, payment, and whether you used a promotional or referral code. We also collect information about your interactions with our app and website, including the pages and content you view and the dates and times of your use.

Location Information

When you use certain features of our Platform, we may collect information about your approximate location (e.g., city/town associated with your IP address). When you opt in to use our location sharing feature, we may collect the precise location information of your mobile device. Keep in mind that most mobile devices allow you to control or disable the use of location services by any application on your mobile device in the device’s settings menu.

Device data

We collect information about your computer or mobile device, such as its operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, unique device identifiers, or general location information such as city, state, or geographic area.

Communications Between Hosts and Guests

We work with a third party to facilitate phone calls and text messages between Hosts and Guests without sharing either party’s actual phone number with the other. But while we use a third party to provide the communication service, we collect information about these communications, including the participants’ phone numbers, the date and time, and the contents of SMS messages.

Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Technologies

We collect information through the use of “cookies”, tracking pixels, data analytics tools like Google Analytics, SDKs, and other third-party technologies to understand how you navigate through the GariConnect Platform and interact with our advertisements, to make your experience safer, to learn what content is popular, to improve your site experience, to serve you better ads on other sites, and to save your preferences.

Third-party services. If you choose to log in to our Services through a third-party site or service (e.g., Apple, Facebook, or Google), the third-party service may send us information such as your registration and profile information from that service. The information we may receive varies by service and is controlled by the relevant service. By associating an account managed by a third party with your GariConnect account and authorizing us to have access to this information, you agree that we may collect, store, and use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
